Hi Jerry,

I assume you have installed the database file and you don't get the DATA FILES MISSING message, nor the PLEASE WAIT message when it is not connected to the mount. As the installation program has not changed for a while an others have installed it recently and have not had issues, I think we can assume that the issue may be with your Windows version on your Surface 3. The only thing I can suggest, assuming that you did not remove the database file when you uninstalled and reinstalled the ExploreStars application, is to go ahead and uninstall the ExploreStars application again and then delete the ExploreStars folder and SQLite file from the Pictures directory, reboot and then reinstall again from scratch.

That's all I can suggest write now.
