Can’t say why poth won’t stop but the hub works fine. There was an issue long ago but that is corrected now
I would suggest that the arrow keys on poth are not what you should use for centering objects anyhow. There are alternatives. One is to use your tablet running Explorestars as the Left right up down arrows. Simply join the WiFi network with the tablet while the pc is connected via serial. If you are using ascom over WiFi then you cannot use Explorestars. But if you are using ascom the. You should find an application that has LRDU buttons . One option is to load NINA. While it might not be what you want to use to manage your session (but it is fabulous) it has under its telescope section a dandy LRDU button. It does however run the mount at 2.5 degrees per second so that is sort of fast. You might load ascompad which is a free app to provide a keypad. While the arrow keys on poth are useful for some things (maybe) Anything is better in my view. Can’t say what’s up with poth but the ascom hub is fine to use. Please wait means the pc is not communicating to the pmc8. Connect the pc to the pmc8 and the use the cmd.exe, enter ipconfig, and see if the pc up address is 192.168.47.11. If it is not then the WiFi connection is your issue Wes -- Wes, Southport NC EXos2-GT PMC-8, iExos 100, ESG11 ES ED 127+MoonLite Focuser, 10" LX200GPS+ MoonLite focuser+wedge, Astro-Tech 8" Newt, ETX-90, 60mm no-name guide scope ~ 260mm FL Polemaster, Orion ST-80 and SAG, ZWO 290MM, D5300 astro modified, ASI071 cooled OSC, ASI MM290 guide camera Nina, Bootcamped Mac Mini control computer, RDP to iMAC 110 amp hour lead acid deep discharge battery for field power Electrical Engineer, Retired

Sorry to hear that Andreas, if I find a solution I'll post it here, I have changed everything over to use Device Hub instead of POTH, hopefully it will work but reports from more experienced users suggest that it won't
Failing a solution I'll have a virtually new 200 PDS for sale, used once only, I'll go back to a simpler/smaller set up AZ-GTi, ASIair pro and mirrorless camera with manual lenses -- EXOS 2 PMC-Eight Watchdog Disabled Fujifilm X-T2 Sky-Watcher 200 PDS

Still haven't managed to get POTH motion controls to work fully, the stop button does nothing so the only way to prevent the mount from continuously moving is to hit the park button, obviously that's not going to be practical Failing that I have to assume there's some kind of issue with my laptop, I wish the set up was much simpler, it's enough to wrap my head around astro imaging when everything is simple without all the extra brain strain from functionality problems I'm getting to the point where I just want to sell it all and give up now and just go back to a simple AZ-GTi with DSLR/Mirrorless se up, so much easier with Sky-Watcher's wireless arrangement

Hello,
To clarify, my 3D printable PoleMaster Mount uses the adapter that comes with the standard PoleMaster system. Nothing else is needed.

The ADM adapter is great!!!!! but having the PolarFinder adapter from Explore Scientific for my iExos100 would be great if you could screw the Polemaster directly onto the adapter.

I don’t know if it’s compatible, but there are several options. You could use polar alignment in NINA. Also, if you have room at the end of your vixen rail, there is an adapter for the PF camera that will mount under the rail.
Good luck. -- Mounts: Explore Scientific EXOS II GT, iEXOS-100, Celestron AVX

If you have access to a 3D printer, you can find one on Thingiverse that works quite well. ADM also makes an adapter that secures to the bottom of the dovetail and that works well too. -Steve

--Re-installing Explorestars hasn't helped but at least I can use it on my android tablet if I just want observation or unguided short exposure imaging My big problem now is POTH motion controls, N.E.S.W. work fine but the stop button in the middle of them doesn't do anything, that's going to make it useless for alignment on targets to sync Any ideas folks? Ram: The next mid-range price option is and ADM D to V converter that fits into your existing Vixen saddle that coverts Vixen to Losmandy. The most expensive option is to replace the Vixen assembly on the mount with an ADM DV assembly which would give you access to both Vixen and Losmandy connections. This option is requires some technical skill because you have to remove the DEC motor along with the Vixen assembly. The ADM replacement does require drilling or filing to widen the slot to remount the DEC motor in order to use the existing bolts. I chose the last option because I personally do not trust saddle connections that use screws for a large scope.
