Thanks Harry. Wish I was in Vero though. It was 25 degrees last night but beautiful clear skies and calm winds. I’m shooting under Bortles 6ish skies in North Ogden Utah with an Optolong L-enhance light pollution dual band pass filter. Makes quite a difference in the pics.

Re: Can the Mount Saddle on the IEXOS-100 be Replaced
#ExploreScientific
Hi Aaron,
Yes it can, I have the ADM Dual D-V saddle on mine. I have a CG4 tripod. You will have to install a coupling nut on the front knob in order for it to clear the dec. housing as the telescope tracks. It's a game changer...worth every dime of the $203.00 CDN I paid for it. Now I can properly balance the scope, it also give me some place to hang the PoleMaster. I'd like to find out about that also.
The stock iEXOS-100 is fine with the original saddle as its load capacity is limited. However once the user upgrades the tripod to ST2/3 and gets more counterweight, the iEXOS-100 can support upto 10kg load. In this case I feel the original saddle might be inadequate. -- Scopes: APM-LZOS 115/805, Skywatcher 200P Dob & APM 107/700 (grab'n'go) Mount: Skywatcher HEQ5 Pro w/ Rowan belt mod + ADM saddle & ES iEXOS-100 PMC8 w/ Fine AZ adjuster + ST2 tripod Eyepieces: ES68 34mm, 24mm; Pentax XW 14mm; ES82 14mm, 8.8mm; Baader Morpheus 6.5mm, 2.25x Q-Barlow; TV Delos 4.5mm, 2.5x Powermate Imaging: Canon EOS 600Da, Canon 135mm f/2L + 1.4x extender, TS 2" 0.79x FR/FF, IDAS NB1 triband filter, Altair Starwave 50mm + ZWO ASI120MM Mini (guiding) Software: BYE, PHD2, ASTAP, Cartes du Ciel, DSS, PIPP, AutoStakkert2, PS CC Binoculars: Vixen Ascot ZR 8x42WP

Connecting Pmc8 to Phd2
Hi,
I am sorry if this is a newbie question but I was wondering if someone can help me as I am new to the PMC-8 system. I am trying to connect the Pmc8 to phd2 (Pulse GUiding). So should I use the POTH Hub in mount options or the ES PMC8 Driver. Any help in this regard is appreciated. For some reason the mount doesnt seem to be calibrating properly. I am in India and using the ES G11 with the Pmc8. Madhavan

Re: Malicious Download Detected Error
Steve Lang
Hey. I've checked this main URL with VirusTotal, it compares it with a
number of commercial antivirus engines etc (~80 or so), and it
checks out OK. The actual download site
(http://02d3287.netsolhost.com/pmc-eight/) has one hit against it
(from Dr.Web). This is most likely because of some other content
that has been hosted on netsolhost.com at some stage. I can't find
any details as to why Dr.Web is thinking this...
Do you use Dr.Web for antivirus?
Some time ago, I had one of my home network security thingies
complain about the main explorescientific site, but that was
either a false positive, or rectified quickly.
Cheers -

Hi Paul, I have not encountered this trouble, however, it's possible you may be using the Safe Browsing feature (Chrome), SmartScreen (Edge) on the browser, or, possibly some anti-virus software shared by the PC's that may need adjustment. - Matt
