You dont say which mount you have.
Set your mount level and use a compass to point the the OTA in the direction of true north, and then rely on the calibration of the mount to adjust the

is there any way to require a trigger for the alignment GOTO? I just received the EXOS-100 and when I start a two star alignment it immediately begins slewing. If the selected star is not available

I have done similar with a SW NEQ5 so I guess I can figure it out. I just didn't know where top start with

It was just an assumption after I saw your Video when the moon „dropped“ from a higher to a lower position shortly after you corrected its position. It always seemed to be a constant distance.

It does seem to pause or delay responding when i try to make adjustments.
So are you recommending I do some mechanical adjusting to ther worm? How can I confirm it

It looks as if the worm of the declination axis is too far away from the gear ring and causes a backlash. 🤔

I adjusted my polar finder so it was aligned to the mount. However, it appeared to be pretty close, if not right on. After adjusting it, it looked to be where I initially found it.
