Ok. I did all that. So there is three items at the bottom.
They say
2 Deleting existing DB
1 The database was successfully downloaded
0 Downloading file. Please wait.
So I assume it is working

Oh, sorry. Use the Configuration Manager. It can be downloaded from the ES web site. It will go get the latest version of the database and put it on the SD card for Android systems.

This is a screen shot of what it looks like when I download it. Same on my pc and laptop exactly. The EXTRACT is in PINK, NOT the Compressed folder file. I have tried this so many times my head is

There's a lot to be said for bolts. :-)
The black knob is basically just a big-box hardware-aisle plastic cap that snaps onto a nut.

No. I would not drill any holes into the tripod legs.
I was thinking you would trace the piece you glued onto the back of the battery case. I would make a template of it

Hi Tim,
Take a look at the AstroZap bracket I designed for Wes. He had an AstroZap box that he wanted to fasten onto the leg of the Exos-2 similar to what you are wanting to do with your battery box.

Not sure how that would work, the battery fits the box perfectly so no room for screw heads nor anyway to tighten them if there were room. Are you suggesting I drill holes in the tripod leg and tap

Why not layout a template and drill holes and tap it out? I think it might save you a lot of time and have a cleaner finish.

Oh well, not so fast, the epoxy let go this evening when mounting to the tripod. Tried some superglue in gel form after scuffing up with some sand paper. Will let you know how that works and show a

Use the values from astrometry.net to get the exact focal length of your system. This is very important. Use ASTAP as your Local and Blind solve tool. Finally your camera should have a minimum

played with it a little after stacking 25 shots of iso 800 at 70 seconds each.
