No, youll be completely fine. and the casting will not degrade, and the bubble level is effected by the casting. i always use a torpedo level for better level accuracy. i hope this helps and please do

what firmware are you currently running right now.

you can check that in the PMC-Eight Configuration Manager under firmware tab.

if you hit download tab it will bring the Versions of the firmware down load the latest and make sure it has "A" in it
