Here's a recent one from 12/7/19 - with the best guiding I've achieved to date

Heart Nebula from a Bortle 8, US east coast
20 x 240sec lights, 20 darks (APT, CDC)
iExos-100, Canon t2i (ha modded), 12nm Ha clip filter, Pentax 300mm prime @ f4
guided (PHD2, total RA error ~.43)
polar aligned with Sharpcap
processed with DSS & PS

Very nice, Jay!

Thank you Taro --

I have a question regarding the Z61 and Field Flattener. Do you have to adjust the backfocus distance of the FF when using a 2" screw in filter? Do you use a filter wheel/drawer?

Hi Jay

I use filter drawer and field flattener, it  show back focus and I setup near distance.
Can get focus then it's my back focus.

Thanks Taro -- I think I got the FF backspacing correct now.

Here's a first light image with the WO Z61 of the Triangulum Galaxy from this past weekend (CLS-CCD filter). I'm interested to see if I can get more detail shooting NB with an Ha filter.

I've been testing Astro Pixel Processor software with integrating multiple sessions, from multiple nights and with multiple cameras.  Here's another take on the Orion Nebula with about 2.5hrs of total exposure, taken with my Canon EOS RP and 5DmkII on multiple nights.  My EXOS2-GT is performing very well, however, I'm still stuck in Houston dealing with lots of light pollution - I'm hoping to get to a dark site after the holidays settle down.

Imaging details as follows, sessions 1, 2 and 3/4 were on three different nights with different levels of seeing and varying PA with my portable setup:
Session 1: Canon 5DmkII, 1.53"/pixel res, no filter,  25x120sec @ ISO250,  20x darks, 100x bias, 50x flats, total PHD RMS error ~0.9"
Session 2: Canon 5DmkII, 1.53"/pixel res, UHC filter, 15x120sec @ ISO1600, 10x darks, 10x bias,  10x flats, total PHD RMS error ~1.1"
Session 3: Canon EOS RP, 1.37"/pixel res, UHC filter, 30x60sec  @ ISO800,  15x darks, 15x bias,  15x flats, total PHD RMS error ~1.4"
Session 4: Canon EOS RP, 1.37"/pixel res, UHC filter, 20x120sec @ ISO800,  15x darks, 15x bias,  15x flats, total PHD RMS error ~1.4"

Vince

Just because you can never have too much Great Orion Nebula, here's another!

This was using the live stack in SharpCap (that qualifies as EAA in my book).
A stack of 36 11s subs, so 6.6 minutes total. No darks, bias, or flats.

Scope: AT80, straight
Camera: ASI294MCPro at -5c
Mount: EXOS2 PMC8

Amazingly, I think at least 4 satellites went through the frame during the exposure on 12/30/2019... for a minute I thought I may have been watching a meteor shower, but they just kept on going.

Hey guys, weather has been awful so I haven't really had the time to image but I finally managed to squeeze one out. I'm almost happy with this image of M81&M82. If I had darker skies and a reducer for my scope I'd probably be able to capure some of the faint IFN, which would take the image to the next level. But for now I'm satisfied.

This is roughly 45x9min exposures, stacked in DSS and processed in Photoshop.

Mount: iExos 100

Imaging scope: Orion ED80 (+Flattener)
