FTDI Chipset USB cables #iEXOS-100

Matt

Good evening everybody, this is a question for the UK peeps. Does anybody have a UK source for FTDI chipset USB cables suitable for the iEXOS-100? I don't seem to be able to find one anywhere. Every configuration but the one I need.

Regards,

Matt

Hi Matt,

I’am not from UK :-) and maybe I’am wrong, but for the IEXOS 100 a normal cable works (USB 2.0 A- to Mini-B). For the EXos2-GT PMC-8 you need an FTDI chipset. I own both and that’s what I could report.

Maybe someone else could confirm this?

Best,
Mirko

Howdy,

Confirmed.  The iEXOS-100 has the interface built-in, so the only thing required is a USB2.0 to USB mini cable.  I think often times people end up buying or using a charging cable from the mobile device instead of a data cable.

I picked up the 15 foot version and I have not had any issues with it.

Correct.   No need in iexos.  But load the parallax ftdi driver from their web site for windows 10.
